#1 Danish TV Network Covers Treesit on News Program!
2 Danish Reporters meet up with We save Trees, to do a story on treesitting. The story aired on Danish channel TV 2, the main Danish Network.
Two Danish reporters from Danish channel TV 2, the main Danish Network, contacted We Save Trees about doing a news feature for their station. They wanted to visit a treesit, and and climb up to visit a sitter, and get the scoop.
We Save Trees activist, Lodgepole, met with the reporters, Lars and Rasmus, and trained them in climbing, and informed them that they would be trespassing, and what risks that may entail. Then the group headed to Treesit "Jerry" in Freshwater, CA, for a day with treesitter, Willow. Willow has been residing in Jerry for over a year, without touching the ground.
During the Assent, the cameraman, Rasmus, became unable to climb any farther halfway up due to a fear of heights, and We Save Trees activist and filmmaker, Lodepole, was asked to do the filming in the tree.
The day, and the cimb went smooth, and Lars and Rasmus made a great piece with the footage from that day, and some older footage of tree-sit extractions, provided by We Save Trees.
We Save Trees is always looking for more media outlets to get tree-sit news out to the world. Please help us in our mission to provide professional media about forest defense issues, and to let the world know about the destruction of our Ancient Forests. We are prepared to facilitate access to the treesits for other media groups. Contact us at...treemail [at] wesavetrees.org
