Human Rights Day 2004

by Michael Harris (blackagriculture [at] yahoo.com)
California Black Farmers recognize Human Rights Day 2004
California Black Farmers have the capacity and historical legacy necessary to feed every hungry mouth in the State of California.

The political will to empower California Black Farmers with the necessary equal opportunity to embrace our mandate to restore agriculture as the foundation of our culture is a human rights issue.

California is named after Queen Califia, a Black women warrior how fought Cortez in 1535 on behalf of her people.

Many "educated" folks say it is a myth, however a mythological battle was raged for 4 years and the European warriors lost in war tell a different story.

Black Farmers have utilized the land for thousands of years in the land of Alta and Baja California.

Today, the State of California celebrates our "California Grown" agriculture holiday, Kwanzaa.

Modern day California Black Farmers share there Human Rights issues with the leadership of our State of California.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to acknowledge Kwanzaa as a authentic expression of our human rights.

We are no longer slaves, 3/5ths of a human being, we are the conscious of a Great State, embracing the good of our creation.
