Its the time of year when giving seems to be on everyone\'s mind and
theres no better way to give back to your community than to
encourage its youth. At Growing Green Kids this sentiment is the
key to our mission; putting food garden programs in every San
Francisco public elementary school. Growing Green Kids is dedicated
to building, staffing and teaching in sustainable school gardens in
San Francisco; allowing kids to experience the agricultural cycle
from seed to market to table.
So come on out to our fabulous benefit. Bring your wallet, your
sense of adventure and your dancing shoes!
There will be a special auction of local artists work, fantastic
food catered by the living food restaurant, Cafe Grattitude, a WINE
bar, music by classical guitarist, Nedjula Baguio, local folk trio,
Open Road, and DJ\'s throughout the night!
Also, special guest Christopher Cook, author of Diet for a Dead
Planet, will be here signing books.
When: Dec. 16th, 7-11pm
Where: 1823 Union St. (@ Octavia) @ the Localpatron Store
