Short Description: The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska, one of America’s last great wild places, faces a greater threat of being opened – and destroyed – by the oil industry than ever before. Local filmmakers Dale Djerassi and Bo Boudart invite you to see their award-winning documentary Oil on Ice. Visually stunning, the film examines the controversy over drilling for oil in the Arctic Refuge and shows how the choices we make today affect not only the future of a national treasure, but also the way America addresses its energy needs.
