Hot Pink Riots in DC: J20

This is a call to action for all queers and trannies and genderfucks of the radical sort to organize with Queer Fist NYC for a J20 action in Washington, DC.

Obviously a slew of radical and anarchist groups are getting ready to pull off some fierce shit in DC to counter the inauguration of our UNITING NOT DIVIDING president (i mean, i know he brings US together often), and Queer Fist NYC is no different. Here is an open call for all revolutionary dykes, punk fags, hard-core trannies, riotous bisexuals, anarchist genderqueers and any sort of inflammatory homo to organize a contingent with Queer Fist for the counter-inauguration on January 20th in Washington, DC. Our action(s) are still in the planning stages, so I suggest you and yours get in on the ground floor! I have a suggestion: instead of planning to actions in a place where you know there will be an intense onslaught of security & military forces to arrest and criminalize you, why not try and organize a national student & worker walkout the day he is inaugurated?

seems like we could have a much bigger economic and social influence that way. Unless, of course, you are planning street battles with police forces - which wont have much effect unless we had thousands in the streets taking the same coordinated actions.

Let's stop this walking in parades and holding signs bit. It just aint working!

§Forget DC; do each state

Let's leave DC to those who live in DC and nearby states
(the immediate DC neighborhood).

Elsewhere let's try to hold at least one demo in each state;
and more in large states.

For California, that means SF and LA,
on the weekend BEFORE
Jan. 20 (hence Jan. 15-16; maybe LA on Saturday, SF on Sunday).

Since 20 Jan. 2004 falls on a Thursday,
that date is best suited to rallies on college
and university campuses.
