Join students and faculty of New College of California's Activism and Social Change Emphasis degree programs for a screening of Melvin Van Peebles' "Classified X," a look at the institutionalization of racism throughout the history of American cinema.

Stay for a post-film discussion challenging everything you thought you knew about race, power, privilege, and supremacy in the United States.

Bring yourself, a donation if you can, and your open mind!
