Friends of the River Celebration 11/17

JOIN US FOR A FRIENDS OF THE RIVER CELEBRATION!

Celebrate a successful summer with Friends of the River and meet writer/photographer Tim Palmer. Tim will be presenting a slideshow to highlight his most recent book: Wild California. This book focuses on some of California’s greatest unprotected wild lands and rivers, many of which Friends of the River is currently campaigning to protect.

The evening will feature a slideshow, hors d’oeuvres, a no-host bar, live music, an update on Friends of the River’s conservation work, and plans for 2005.

WHEN: Wednesday November 17, 2004, 5:00 to 7:30pm
