I was the one who originated the "butterfly" name. I created it I have used it for years. IT IS MINE! and that tratorus julie hill stole this trademerk of my commitment to the forest and is using it to make money for her self.

In response to some rather negative comments about miss hill, I am here, as a friend of hers, to try to set things in a different light.
First of all, Julia has not stolen the name "butterfly", its been a name that has been with her since her beginning days of her treesit in 97. She took this name on, because of an experience she had as a young girl, hiking in the smokies with her family, and having a butterfly land on her, staying with her as she walked. She choose this name because of that experience, not to upset anyone else who may view themselves also as "butterfly".
Second, julia is the least hateful person I have ever known, and she is no theif, or what did I read "liar". Why say such things. Julia doesnt want to be on a pedestal as she has been placed, she has the recognition she has, due to her passion to make a difference in the world, and to dedicate her life privately and publically in doing so. As she has said many times over, she is only one person, and can't do it all. This is why she hold festivals such as We the Planet, and participates in speaking engagements around the world. To inspire, to ignite the change we can all make in our lives.
This world is filled with enough turmoil, why place such unwarrented hate on someone that is trying to share the insight she has gained through her own lifes trials and success's. Judgment is not our own, so please try to set aside any preconceived notions you may have, and look at Julia as another human being, fighting like the rest of us, to make change.

Is this comment real. Sasha butterfly do you really feel this way or is someone trying to use your name for their own purposes. Wishing to know .....

i just did a search to see what comes up for Sasha Butterfly on the web and saw this ridiculousness. Anyone who even knows Sasha, even a little bit, knows she would never in a million years write or say something like that. We were recording her 1st album in while Julia was in Luna and she has been an inspiration ever since. Julia, we love you! I pray that whoever wrote that gets whatever healing they need and stops slandering other peoples names.
