Moloch and the Children

Retelling of Biblical Story
MOLOCH AND THE CHILDREN
In thinking about the recent “election”, the story of Moloch popped into my mind, the god of the old testament whose stomach was a huge cavern of fire, the tongues of which reached out for the babies as they were thrown from the arms of their parents. I remember that I saw, as a small child in the First Baptist church, a huge color picture of Moloch hanging on the wall of our classroom. It terrified me. Actually what terrified me was that the people, mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles, neighbors, fellow citizens would perform those terrible sacrifices to this evil god. I couldn’t understand why any human being would deliberately send young ones to die. Why? For what purpose?

Then the meaning of Moloch suddenly came clear to me in the wake of the Bush reinstallment. Those who voted for Bush and the rest of the cadre of evil are showing their colors as devotees of the deliberate killing of children. This Moloch kills by gunfire, bombs laced with deadly uranium, car bombs set by those who retaliate the unjust killings of their own loved ones, and all the other evils this Moloch has set upon the world by his dependence on oil for his fires and favors for his followers and the praise he receives from the deceived whose wrongful faith in him, abets death and destruction to the world’s innocent people, and his unholy, evil intent to rule the world, the solar system, and, probably the entire universe if someone will hand it to him on a platter of gold or silver.

Moloch is the name of the very essence of evil we have had loosed upon us! We must overturn this Moloch by any means we can find or will you continue to gladly lift all our children into the fiery arms of the madman?

Each summer an elite group gathers for a retreat at Bohemian Grove, a 2700-acre estate near the town of Monte Rio in Sonoma Country. The “Bohemians,” also called "Bohos" or "Grovers" are an all-male pack of corporate, financial, military and government leaders. The group has included every Republican president since Herbert Hoover. Both Bushes have been here; so have Henry Kissinger, Dick Cheney, and Collin Powell, as well as a horde of lesser-known Bohos.

The first order of business for the 2-week campout is a sinister ritual called "The Cremation of Care." In this bizarre ritual, Bohemians, dressed in red-hooded robes, stand at the base of a 40-foot stone owl and burn an effigy of "Care" in a roaring fire.

There has been much speculation of what the meaning of this may actually be, and some investigators have asserted that the owl represents Moloch, a bloodthirsty deity of the ancient Phoenicians which demanded child-sacrifice.

The Phoenician Moloch was represented by a bull, instead of a stone owl as at Bohemian Grove. Despite that difference, the similarity is great enough to suggest that the ceremony may have been inspired by an ancient cult of child sacrifice.

Given the context of today's world and the role these men play in it, the form of the Cremation of Care ritual -- the priests in hooded robes, the mythologem of human sacrifice -- seems to symbolize the mindset of men who profit from war, chop up the forests, pollute the environment and scheme to privatize Social Security. The ritual most likely creates a fraternal atmosphere in which they can bond and set the stage for future cooperation in the exercise of evil.

And George Bush, the born-again Christian, hangs out with this crowd of idol worshipers.

It seems to me with great agitation that we have unwittingly held up our children to Moloch with the registration of them shortly after birth ...i will not be doing it agiain.
We spend the rest of our lives inveriably watching them burn in the hands of the evil system as we have ourselves.
I feel this has to stop and i also feel the worshippers of Moloch are headed for a rapid demise and will take anyone who cannot see them for what they are with them into a hell realm of their own design.
This will of course be the demise of our fraudulant monetary sustem and the opportubity for us to realise the true meaning of freedom.
