Veterans For Peace Chapter #87 (Sacramento) is calling for a protest
gathering on Thursday, November 11th from 12-1 p.m.  Bring your own signs
and let the Department of Defense and this administration know how you feel
about the Iraqi War and other issues.

MEPS, Sacramento is obscurely located in a business park on Northgate Blvd
and I-80 across the freeway from Fry's.  The location lends itself ideally
to a circular protest walk on the sidewalks.  Rosin Ct. is a dead-end with
MEPS on one side and restaurants and a hotel on the other.

MEPS will become the new draft induction centers.  Let's say hello.  Let's
get friends and family out there.  Draft age youth and younger should be out
there establishing their long held moral/philosophical objection to war.

Our country loves to trot out the veterans on Memorial Day, Independence Day
& Veterans Day.  Veterans Day belongs to us.  It is not the first big sale
of the Christmas season.  It is a day when veterans should raise their
voices and shout GET US THE HELL OUT OF IRAQ!
