Examiner Lies about Protest
Examiner runs AP coverage of 11/3 protest estimating crowd of "dozens"
In the "Local News" section of today's Examiner, the AP wire story states: "A few dozen demonstrators gathered in downtown San Francisco on Wednesday, huddling together with their familiar anti-war signs...But the scene was nothing like earlier anti-Bush protests..."
For anybody that wasn't at the Not In Our Name Rally on Wednesday, the crowd that gathered at 5th and Powell was probably close to 5000.
If you want to tell the corporate media to stop lying, contact the Examiner at "letters [at] examiner.com" or AP at "info [at] ap.org"

That article is from the Associated Press. It seems strange to me that the Examiner -- a San Francisco newspaper -- couldn't write its own report. That says something about the current sad state of the Examiner.
I was there, you are wrong. Sorry. 5000 is waaaaaaaaay too high of an estimate.
I was very disappointed sad to say.

The paper was run into the ground by the Fang family and was then purchased by a conservative millionaire.
Accuracy in media? That's asking a bit much from your free daily rabid tabloid.
