I will never understand how people can wear "pro-palestine" stuff. In palestine gays get killed just because of their homosexual way of life and the state says it's ok. Are you really in solidarity with a state like that??? And the biggest part of the anti-imperialist resistance is antisemitic and islamistic like the hamas and other stupid-asshole-organizations! No solidarity with the intifada! Solidarity with all groups fighting for a peaceful jewish/arabic-partnership!!!! NO BORDERS, NO NATIONS! FIGHT ANTISEMITISM & HOMOPHOBIA!!

That was the simplest reduction of a situation that has ever been done. If black's in the south had been homophobic does it mean that we should not have supported their liberation? You are probably white and do not understand that sometimes we have to go outside of our anarchist viewpoints and live in the real world. There is a liberation struggle going on. Maybe you should read some Chela Sandoval and study differential conciousness, it's an idea that we can be anti-state and at the same time support nationalist liberation struggles because it's poor people fighting for freedom. Yes, Hamas belives human bombing is a good tactic. If you would like to see them take a different route, convince the government to sell them arms so they can fight like an army, until then, all they have is their bodies. Email me if you'd like to have a real discussion apart from your zionist one-liner and actually discuss the issue, otherwise, keep your privelaged nonsense to yourself.

The palestinians don't really have a state, so you can't say that homophobic reactions in palestine are state sponsored.
Even if things look grim, and if the immediate evidence seems to be to the contrary, I'd say that the mantra you have to use as your foundational principle is that groups of people typically are good. Bad comes when specific individuals are given money and power and are corrupted.

You can look at repression in Iran, or repression in europe that sent lots of Mexican/US/Canadian/Brazilian's ancestors to the americas. The immediate picture might seem to be ordinary or poor people supporting extreme islamism and resulting in repression of their economic peers.
But if you trace this, it usually originates from the upper class. In Europe, the fairy tales have beautiful princesses and princes blessed by god, and luckily commoners might be able to join them via magic. Such myths reinforce the monarchy, and probably originate from the top. In Iran, I keep hearing how it used to be heading in a progressive direction in the 50s until the leftists were purged, and even now, young people hate the leaders. So why do some people join the most repressive group?
I think its the same as with working class white people in service industries who resound off the myth that welfare queens are what is taking up most of the tax money that they pay, and that they're suckers for working. The basis of your reality would be really undermined if you realize that you are being made the sucker, so you'll embrace anyone with a story that reinforces your life of having to get up early and work all day without rebelling.
