Flying Picket in Solidarity on 11/7, 7 PM
This Sunday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 PM, will be the 5th Flying Picket in solidarity with the locked out hotel workers. They've been out for over a month and they need us to come together in unity as a working class community to support them.

We'll meet again at Union Square, corner of Powell & Geary--across from the picket line at the front entrance of the St. Francis Hotel.
Please bring noise makers, musical instruments and your imagination.
We'll visit as many picket lines as we can. Please come out and tell your friends too.
Let's throw our solidarity into helping the hotel workers win this one--which will be an inspiration to all working class people in struggling to improve their conditions, especially in making health care free and available to all.

If even a pig like Gavin Newsom can walk the picket lines, radicals in the Bay Area should too.
Please come out and show your solidarity.

The hotels have come forward with multiple proposals to improve the health plan. Health care is no longer the central issue in this dispute. In my opinion, the Union is being unreasonable by demanding a 2 year contract. The hotels showed good faith with their health plan offer, now it is time for the union to show good faith and budge a little on the contract. Negotiation means both sides end up compromising.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
