Flu Shot Shortage? No Lines at Kaiser

FLU SHOT SHORTAGE??? HAH!!

Visited my local Kaiser at 10:30 a.m., 11/1/04.
Arrows directed me to flu shot station.
Followed arrows.
Expected huge line.
NO ONE IN LINE!!!!

Read sign stating who could get flu shot:
Only people over 65, those with chronic diseases, those on aspirin therapy, infants.

BUT....NO LINE FOR FLU SHOTS!
Where was everyone???
Asked if I could get a flu shot (52 years old) anyway.
Denied.
Was told it's the CA LAW, LAW, LAW!!!
BUT....NO LINE FOR FLU SHOTS!
NONE!
NO ONE WAITING!
Saw plenty of flu doses there.
IDLE nurse said she didn't understand the LAW.
Doctor I later saw said he didn't understand the LAW.
