Halloween Ritual W/ Starhawk, Future of Food Screenings

GE-Free Sonoma County invites you to a Halloween Ritual with Starhawk
and several free showings of "The Future of Food".


HALLOWEEN RITUAL WITH STARHAWK:
Reclaiming of Sonoma County hosts a community-oriented celebration of
Samhain (pronounced Sah-win), with Starhawk leading the trance to the
Isle of Apples. We honor our beloved dead, and dance the spiral that
leads to rebirth, welcoming the Witch's New Year. Starhawk will also
be signing her new book "The Earth Path" (which has a whole section
on stopping genetic engineering!).

THE FUTURE OF FOOD - FREE FILM SHOWINGS:
You really must see this highly acclaimed 90-minute documentary on
the dangers of genetic engineering - clear, compelling, and very
well made, it will leave you truly informed and moved to action!

The Future of Food is also available on loan (at no cost) from Sonoma
County Public Library (most branches) and will be in many locally

CAMPAIGN UPDATE:
We now have less than eight weeks left to gather signatures to place
the GE-Free Sonoma Initiative on the ballot for next spring. We need
many more volunteers to help if we are to make it. If you are busy
with the current election, please consider helping out after November
