Join us for this special program to hear Nadia
McCaffrey and other community activists speak about the latest on the war in Iraq and what's happening here at home. Representatives from Motherspeak, Veterans for Peace and other organizations give updates on how we are all affected. Opportunity for Q & A and wonderful live music by local singer/musicians Viviane Deleon Bias, Breandain & Chris Langlois of "Demons Defeated", Rob Perala and more.

Keynote speaker Nadia McCaffrey, facilitator of the International Association of Near Death Studies - San Francisco Bay Area Chapter, the founder of Angelstaff and Changing the Face of Life, is a public and vocal activist. As she will be moving from Northern to Southern California soon to continue her work, catch her here before she leaves the Bay Area and also meet friends and speakers at this important event.

Laptops for Iraq is a project that Nadia and her son,
Sgt. Patrick McCaffrey, started to help loved ones stationed in Iraq stay in touch with their families in the US. Patrick was killed in Iraq on June 22, 2004. His and Nadia's story was covered by the Associated Press, ABC, CBS, CNN, USA Today,
Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle,
Democracy Now, Aljazeera.net, NotInOurName.org,
TruthOut.org and many other media groups across the US and around the world.
