Join us in exploring the changes in civil rights and immigrant rights through three documentary films examining the legacy of school desegregation, post- 9/11 detention and deportation, and the stories of America's immigrants. A FILM PRESENTATION & DISCUSSION WITH FILMMAKERS Marcia Smith, Beyond Brown Jason Dasilva, Lest We Forget Renee Tajima-Pena, The New Americans Indu Krishnan, The New Americans Opening remarks by Eva Paterson, Executive Dirtector of the Equal Justice Society.
