Why Are We Litering the World with Depleted Uranium Instead of Generating Power with It?

by RSD
"...Economic studies indicate that a radioisotropic nuclear battery is economically competitive with chemical batteries for applications requiring lifetimes of over two years at remote locations..." TRY 400,000 YEARS!!!!
Hey! Guess what!!!

Electricity can be safely and economically generated with radioactive materials:

"APPARATUS FOR DIRECT CONVERSION OF RADIOACTIVE DECAY ENERGY TO ELECTRICAL ENERGY" [United States Patent Number: 4,835,433]

It's baby simple. It's described in THE FREE-ENERGY DEVICE HANDBOOK (ISBN 0-932813-24-0), from Adventures Unlimited Press, on pages 18-21, along with many other SIMPLE devices for the DIRECT conversion of radioactive decay into electrical power.

One such device, the Beta Cell, was demonstrated in 1913!!!

So why is California going without electricity on one hand, while a perfectly usable source of power like depleted uranium being buried, bungled, and blasted all over an
increasingly contaminated Earth?

Hmmm..???

Actually speaking uranium ought not to be used in the huge atomic plants for energy as it creates radioactive waste that lasts for thousands of years. the obvious alturnative is solar energy which doesnt pollute but does shine on us all and provides energy for life that the planet needs, given freely and equally thoughout the world. re-tooling the industrial revolution with it by putting solar panels on the roofs of the factories, and on the tall buildings as siding, and on the ships, as well as along the train tracks, and in residential areas on the roof tops would solve the energy crisis in ca and around the world. There would be no wars for oil, and no pollution solution. In fact the hi-tech tools now exist to put in place wind and tidal power and all of that transforms to electricity. This back to natures laws would guarantee more power than could be used.. Ford motors just last year built 1,200 motor vehicles with electric motors. These vehicles were top of the line. you just plug them in like a cell phone and, voila hundreds of miles of power the next day. Someone, however ordered ford to shred the vehicles, and ford was about to do so when Norway quickly bought them all. So now Norway has the best vehicles that ford could make. The someone who ordered the shredding must have been from the bush administration or Bush himself as ford is large enough to ward off most opposition. The answer for the new millenium of power is with wind, tidal, and solar power and not with any polluting coal, gas, oil, or atomic energy. Thanks for saying no to atomic war, it really is illegal by the geneva conventions which stipulates no unjust order is to be followed. There is nothing more unjust than atomic war.
