Pictures of 13 year old Palestinian schoolgirl gunned down by so-called Israeli 'soldiers'
Iman Al Shams was shot by an Israeli sniper as she was going to school carrying her books in her satchel. An Israeli commander approached her where she had fallen and shot her twice in the head and then proceeded to unload an entire clip into the rest of her body which was riddled with 20+ bullet holes. He was arrested but then acquitted: "The investigation concluded that the behaviour of the company commander from an ethical point of view does not warrant his removal from his position."

"We saw her from a distance of 70m. She was fired at ... from the outpost. She fled and was wounded," a soldier said.
While Iman was lying, wounded or dead, about 70m from the Israeli guard post, the platoon commander approached her and fired two bullets from close range at her head, the soldiers said.
He then went back a second time, put his weapon on the automatic setting and - ignoring their objections on the walkie-talkie - emptied his entire magazine into her body.
But the army says it accepts the commander's claim that he fired into the ground near the girl after coming under fire in a dangerous area.
It has not explained why the officer shot into the ground rather than at the source of the fire.
"The investigation did not find that the company or the company commander had acted unethically," an army statement said.
"The investigation concluded that the behaviour of the company commander from an ethical point of view does not warrant his removal from his position."

Far too many Palestinian women and children are being shot in the head by Israeli soldiers. These stories more often than not go unreported by the media which does not hesitate to show Israeli victims when Palestinians finally seek revenge for the daily onslaught wreaked upon them.
Palestinian school girls put their lives in their hands when they venture out to simply go to school amidst racist Israelis bent on stealing what little land the Palestinian people have left.
Palestinian school girls cross the Race Wall on their way to school. Imagine having to get by a fence on your own land and protected by a people of another race (mostly from Europe and America) who are intent on driving you off of that land in order to steal it for themselves.
This is the crux of the Middle East problem and the reason for all the "terrorism" directed towards Israel and Israel's main benefactor and protector America. (Notice how no one ever calls Israel's or America's actions terrorism; only violence by Arabs is terrorism even though the toll on Arabic lives is in the millions -- like the over 1.5 million Iraqis killed over the last decade due to US policy which is shaped in Tel Aviv.) This is also the main reason we constantly find wars in the region and threaten countries like Syria and Southern Lebanon which are not naturally an enemy of the U.S.

An Israeli *JEWISH* peace activist said that these kinds of child killings by Israeli soldiers occur ALL THE TIME -- and **NOTHING** ever happens to the Israeli soldiers! This deliberate, intentional, with malice aforethought genocide of the Palestinian people is paid for with our tax dollars. It is clear that the higher birthrate of the Palestinians, with the accompanying emigration of Israeli Jews from their miserable hellhole of a "country" better known as a US military base to protect US oil profits in the Middle East, will soon cause the Israeli Jewish population to be a minority. Thus, it is no accident that the Palestinian female children and young women, whether pregnant or not, are special targets of these fascists.

All politics are local. It is long overdue that everyone do everything they can to organize labor right here in the United States. Here in San Francisco, we can and must support the hotel workers' strike, at the very least by walking their picketlines . They also need food and have a nice table with a blue tent to protect it from rain where you can put the food and beverage.
Please help the hotel workers' strike and do anything you can for every and all labor struggles. That is something we can all do and it will make a big difference in the politics of this country.

While I would agree that socialism (or at the very least social policies similar to Sweden) would be far better for this country, I don't think we can wait for America to go socialist before ending our aid to Israel.

What is more important then stopping aid to Israel is to remove the Israeli Military from the West Bank and Gaza and allow the Palestinian People to have their State called for in the Road Map to Peace, in the Whole of the West Bank and Gaza so that all the atrocties can stop on both sides.
Maybe it is time the U.N. and U.S. and E.U. step in and say "O.K." the Road Map is getting us nowhere fast......
So lets go ahead and make those borders so the conflict can end.
Israel inside its pre 1967 Green line borders, with its Jewish majority and 1,200,000 or so Arabs.
Palestine in the Whole of West Bank and Gaza, with its Palestinian majority and 400,000 or so Jewish settlers.
The settlers can choose on their own if they wish to stay in the New State of Palestine or move to Israel.
An agency can be set up in Israel to aid and help move any settler who wishes to move.
Then just like when Iraq invaded Kuwait, a coalition was formed to get him out. If Palestine tries to Invade Israel a coalition can go in and get the Palestinians out. If Israel tried to Invade Palestine a coalition can go in and get the Israelis out. These are not huge Countries where it would be impossible.
With this arrangement, The Palestinians can never "drive the Israelis into the Sea" and the Israelis can never be accused of "ethnic cleansing" the Palestinians.
Law on either side, just like anywhere else, can deal with individual troublemakers on either side.
Until we do something that is Fair and Just for both sides there will be no Peace.

The US gives the PA foreign aid, most of which ends up siphoned off by Arafat to be used either for terror (like financing the acquisition of explosives and paying families of suicide bombers) or to beef up the luxurious lives the members in his close circle and their families lead. Why don't you show any sense of urgency about ending all US aid to the PA? How much longer must the Palestinians themselves be held hostage to the ignorance or hypocrisy displayed by those espousing your view? Is the PA a benevolent paragon of democracy to you?
