10/13: John Ashcroft in San Jose

Attorney General John Ashcroft will be in San Jose on Wednesday,
October
13 for a luncheon with SIIA, a software trade association. The event
will take place at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel, 170 South Market
Street,
San Jose, starting at noon.

(I think you can go even if you don't support Kerry. -poster)

San Jose, starting at noon. Anyone interested in giving Mr
Ashcroft a
welcome is advised to be out front of the Fairmont with creative
Kerry-Edwards signs, as well as those saying things like "President
Kerry's Duty To
Constitution: Dump John Ashcroft". The visit comes the day of
the last
Kerry-Bush debate. This event will provide another opportunity
to show
how important it is to get out the vote to defeat the worst
presidential
ticket in our lifetimes, and then some.

if you think the security apparatus in the US is gonna be meaningfully changed and made less-repressive under john kerry you're in for surprise.

at least ashcroft and the rest of the bushian clowns announce their intentions clearly. with the democrats you have to read the fine print.

§Civil Lib activists out to "stiff" John

Yes, this is a great opportunity for Civil Liberties activists to demonstrate against the "deadliest" UNELECTED official in the Bushed Regime. Remember, Ashcroft is the John who couldn't beat a "stiff" back in 2000. Then came the selection of "Boy George who would be king" by the Supine Court, and Voila! Ashcroft was resurrected from the dead by King George II & became the Annointed General, in charge of rolling back all protection of citizens' rights under the U.S. Constitution & the Bill of Rights.

So give him Hell, you brave South Bay activists! I look forward to seeing your courageous actions on CNN!
