No on Measure Y Updates...
and Get Out the Jail Vote (below)

Every Saturday we will be holding Outreach Saturdays from 10AM – 2PM (info on this Saturday below).

We will be holding a banner/sign making party on Friday from 4-7PM at 991 61st Street in North Oakland (between San Pablo and Sacramento) to prepare for the weekend.

This Saturday we will be meeting early at 9:30AM at Peralta Elementary School, 460 63rd Street in North Oakland, just East of Telegraph Ave, for a debate on Measure Y between Wilson Riles Jr. and Police Chief Word followed by a Town Hall meeting for Voter Education and Solidarity at Sweet Jimmie’s Entertainment Complex.

We will then be going to a town hall meeting of Voter Education and Solidarity at Sweet Jimmies at 1730 San Pablo Ave from noon until 4PM.

This Saturday we will also be hanging out at the Copwatch barbecue 3-5PM at the Grassroots House on Blake, just below Shattuck.

Tuesday: Wilson Riles Jr. will be debating Chief Word again at 6PM at Sweet Jimies, 1730 San Pablo Ave. This is also an event for Voter Education and Solidarity. We will be holding a No on Measure Y campaign meeting directly following the debate. Location TBA.

GET OUT THE JAIL VOTE!
The No on Measure Y Campaign is helping with a campaign Get Out the Jail Vote….This campaign will be going to Santa Rita Jail, meeting every Sunday and Wednesday at 5:15PM at the Fruitvale BART and arriving at Santa Rita at 6PM when visiting hours start.
