In the heated exchange, Slicky Dick resorted to his stock in trade, namely, his Big Lies(remember that Cheney kept insisting on Iraqi possession of WMDs and Saddam's ties to al Qaeda & Sept. 11?) and his attack dog M.O. But Edwards was no progressive Pacifist, either, as he reiterated his running mate John Kerry's commitment to "win in Iraq."

Truth be told, the corporate bin-Laden media's showcase "debates" merely reveal to the public the bankruptcy of both "Repubicrat" parties' solemn defense of the Evil Empire's aggressive foreign policies. Neither candidate had the "balls" to admit that the illegal & immoral U.S. Invasion/Occupation had killed well over 20,000 totally innocent Iraqi civilians.

After November 2, either of the "winning" party will continue the bloody Occupation..., until the heroic Iraqi resistance(yes, there are many decent as well as nefarious factions)--hopefully aided by the efforts of progressive Peace citizens across the Planet--eventually costs the Imperial invaders an unbearable expense in dollars & soldiers killed that Washington will, ultimately, tire and get out. A Colossal Neo-con Debacle of the 21st century will then be written into the history books...
