Thank you so much for posting these. I didn't understand that employers could overtly fire union members! I thought unionizing was protected -- if only by theory!

Great photos- I'm on that line 60 hours a week. we're not fired, actually, but locked out until we reach a contract agreement, or agree otherwise. We're doing great, and costing the hotels a whole lot of money...so much for their tough guy strategy! thanks for posting these.

and the noise issue. I notice they're making more noise on New Montgomery, more power to 'em! I walked the picket one day with those guys and will again this week!

This strike is important, whatever what one may think of the union's strategy. It would be a damned shame if the hotel workers are defeated, especially given how many progressives and radicals live in the bay area who could be helping to strengthen the hotel workers' struggle instead of sitting on the side-lines doing nada.
