This conference will kick off on Saturday, Oct 9th with a celebration of the victories of our movement, and an exciting look at how we can fight the death penalty. Speakers will include Barbara Becnel, the co-producer of Redemtion, spoken word artists, video footage of the fight to save Kevin Cooper, and more.

Sat Oct 10th is a day long series of workshops on the following topics:
Racism and the criminal justice system, Family members of death row inmates speak out, Women on death row in California, The fight to free death row prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal, plus many more.

Speakers include
Jesse Jackson, Derrel Myers ( Murder Victims for Reconciliation ), Donna Larsen (mother of death row inmate Keith Doolin), Madison Hobley (exonerated death row inmate from Illinois) to name a few.
