Memorial procession to the World Bank and IMF Oct.2nd

In light of the up coming World Bank and IMF meetings an ad-hoc coalition of
independent activists, members of the Party Liberation Front, members of
Positively Against Capitalism and other organizations do by here call for a
march to the World Bank on Saturday Oct. 2nd to mourn the lives lost at the
hands of the World Bank, IMF and global capitalism.

The Memorial procession from Arlington national cemetery to mourn the dead
in Iraq will arrive around 2pm at the ellipse. Marchers will gather at the
ellipse at 2:15 to support their action before moving to the World Bank at
2:45 in solemn procession. Participants are encouraged to wear black and to
bring drums for the dirge. Several groups will provide such things as body
bags and banners but all should bring what they can to express outrage and
sadness at the vast loss of life as result of the World Bank and IMF's
activities. The march will end at Murrow park across from the World Bank
where an all night vigil to honor lives lost will be concluding. Upon
reaching the park all all welcome to participate in symbolic die-in as the
World Bank Grim Reaper casts a shadow on our march.
