What was left out of the footage very carefully was the piles of trash that are left all over the mountian from 6 years of sitting. Clothes, buckets full of food then filled with "other stuff",old sleeping bags,and misc. garbage. I don't think many of the activists adhear to the ideas they spout. One of which is "If you can pack it in, you can pack it out. If they really belived that the park would have had an intrest in buying it, they would have treated it ... well like a park.

We don't drink corporate schwag beer or eat corporate schwag food, which accounts for much of the trash left both on the mountain & in Freshwater (where we've also been reprimanded for littering, though the waste seems largely to be items such as McDonald's wrappers & Coors cans.) We try to be as conscious as we can about recycling & cleaning up after ourselves. And those who clearcut, thereby trashing the whole forest, really shouldn't be throwing stones.

Its not beer containers or fast food that is the problem. Its the clothing that is to dirty to be worn and is tossed, the storm ripped tarps, the old pots, ect, that are the problem. And as much as you hate it, clear cuts are legal.

your logging is not legal. all of your legal has been found to be illegal, in court, for the past four years.
you just want to brainwash the city kids because you're from there and you don't like the feeling of them hating you.
but it's not hate. it 's love for the forests that you destroy that causes such strong emotions. even people raised in cities feel the connection with wild nature. you've just repressed your love so that you can "do your job."
have a nice vacation with all the money you've made.

It may not be McDonalds or Coors cans that you bring in, but the Zig Zag wrappers and soy milk cartons defiantly are not the loggers. If you folks are so "Eco Friendly" then why don't you pick that up also? Or is it because your bags are so full of all the trash the other sitters have packed in, that you have no more room? Even though we all know when you sit in these trees...when the time comes to be extracted and the trees are to be cut down, (like Ardia) you cry for a while then you just pull out and leave all of your trash behind. So stop with the clean freak act because you aren't fooling me, or anyone else.

I just wanted to say that i love aradia and i am totally like devistated abou this whole situation. I LOVE YOU ARADIA AAAARRGGGHHHH RIP!

shunka has not used money to buy a recording studio. the studio was rented for the recording session to produce new ways to bring money to the campaign. you have to buy the ingredients before you can have a bake sale, right?

shunka is not buying any office buildings. we rent a space for about $300 a month for media purposes.

any non-profit organization would do the same.
the money that is donated goes towards a newsletter (which is published a few times a year), direct action to protect the forests, and rent space.

i know that whoever wrote the post that im responding to wont care one way or another, probably just another feddy hack trying to cause dissent and destruction.

All the money goes for an office that produces very little media, so I think that you should all be fired! As for accountablity, you have none, you just say, yeah, we spent the money, so what, there is no break-down of how the money is spent, maybe the feddies, that are so interested in you should do a investigation into your donation spending!
