Third Annual Golden Gate Bridge Event

What: Third Annual Golden Gate Bridge Event to benefit the African Vulnerable Children Project.
When: Sunday, October 24, noon.
Where: Crissy Field—Amphitheatre, San Francisco. The Amphitheatre is right next to the Warming Hut near the western end of Crissy Field. Lunch will be held at Fort Baker on the north side of the bridge.
How Much: Individuals: $35; Families: $25 for each adult accompanied by a child, $15 for each child; Groups: $35 for adults, $25 for an adult accompanied by a child, $15 for each child
Cheri Huber, Executive Director of Living Compassion, and author of 17 books including “There Is Nothing Wrong with You” and “When You’re Falling, Dive,” will participate in the walk and share her views on the day. Cheri is a well-known speaker and Zen teacher who has introduced thousands of people to the practice of self compassion.
This year our event has something for everyone. For those who enjoy a long walk and beautiful views, there is the option to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. For others who want to stay and have fun at Crissy Field, there will be an array of activities to join. Either way, we invite you to ask your friends and family to sponsor your participation in this event that benefits the children of southern Africa.
Preregistration is requested so all participants are guaranteed meals and a T-shirt at the event. To preregister, visit http://www.livingcompassion.org or call 209-728-0860. Foot traffic only allowed on bridge---no bikes, roller blades, etc. please. Parking is available near the amphitheater. Carpooling is encouraged. E-mail contact: information@livingcompassion.org.
