The socialist party on California's ballot, Peace & Freedom Party, will have a candidate forum on September 25, 2004 at 7 p.m. at the Center for Political Education, 522 Valencia, San Francisco (1 block from 16th St BART).

The Labor Committee of the Peace & Freedom Party is sponsoring this public discussion of the need to build a political party based in the workingclass. Some of the candidates for office in the November 2004 election will speak, including:

Representatives of the Leonard Peltier for President and Janice Jordan for Vice President campaign

Marsha Feinland for US Senate (one California seat)

Leilani Dowell for Congress, 8th Congressional District (most of San Francisco)

Ian Grimes for State Senate, 3rd District ( part of San Francisco, Sonoma and all of Marin)

Steve Zeltzer for Supervisor of San Francisco, 9th District (Mission, Bernal Heights, Portola)

This is your opportunity to meet the candidates and learn more about their program.
