“War, Occupation & the 2004 Elections”
Topics will include:
·Analysis of the positions of Bush and Kerry on intervention and occupation in Iraq, Palestine, Korea, Cuba, Iran, Sudan, and elsewhere.
·Historical perspective: The Democrats, Republicans and six decades of U.S. policy in the Middle East.
·War on the poor at home and abroad: Can domestic and foreign policy be separated?
·After Nov. 2: What should be the perspective of the anti-war and people’s movement after the election?
$3-$10 donation (no one turned away for lack of funds)
Call to reserve free childcare. Wheelchair accessible.
