Antonia Juhasz, Project Director of the International Forum on Globalization, will talk about how the "profit motive" has corrupted our professed ideals and become one of the principal dynamics behind the violence, invasions, and occupations that now characterize U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East and elsewhere. Juhasz received a Project Censored award for her article, "Ambitions of Empire: the Radical Re-construction of Iraq's Economy," in Left Turn magazine. She also provided testimony to the World Tribunal on Iraq on US economic colonization of Iraq.
