Hello all,
Wow! What an amazing day full of beautiful energy! That's me in the picture signing 'applause' as the crowd cheered for one of the performers. I was one of 5 'terps who worked the whole day.
Hopefully more events like this will be accessible in the future for Deaf brothers and sisters by maintaining a conciousness of accessiblity for everyone, from mobility issues to hearing loss and beyond.
Many thanks to Michael Franti & Spearhead, the mgt and folks that work with them, & a few people within the Deaf community (Sierra & Nate, etc.) who have the vision and have worked to make it happen.
