Prison death under investigation;
Arizona Had he been eating too many banana peels? A 49-year-old Mohave County Jail inmate defecated on his cell floor, slipped in his own feces, struck his head on the ground, and died. the investigation has been ruled a suicide by the jail staff.
the ACLU is currently challenging this ruling claiming
premeditation on the part of prison officials.

Two years ago, my family lost my brother Mark. He was twenty-one, in a out of jail since he was fifteen. Mark wasn't exactly the most well known guy when it came to the police force. Yet, he was just one of those people that everyone connected with. He had a lot of personality. After serving about six months in prison (for about the tenth time), having razors planted in his cell, and being constantly harassed by the guards...we got a phone call- days before Christmas, telling us Mark was in the hospital and he had just had ungone brain surgery. He was beaten to death, cuff Marks around his wrists- a broken hand. Yet, we were not notified about it until after he was brain dead. His case was dropped about a week ago, and no one will pay for his death. He was murdered by the guards at West Valley Detention Center, yet they'll continue to do their bad to others. Thank you for your time.
