National Network on Cuba (NNOC):

FALL MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT: OCTOBER 1-3, 2004

Dear Members and Friends of the NNOC,

The fall meeting of the National Network On Cuba (NNOC) will be held from October 1st-October 3rd in Washington, DC. As we did last fall,
we will be meeting at the Hotel Harrington, 436 11th St. NW, Washington, DC. We are planning to begin the weekend's activities on
Friday morning, October 1. We anticipate devoting this time to an "advocacy day"; an opportunity to meet with members of Congress in
order to voice our opinions on current legislation and the state of US/Cuba relations. The Latin American Working Group (LAWG) will help
in these efforts. We expect that an opening reception will be held on Friday evening at the Cuban Interests Section. Our business
meeting will continue on Saturday morning and conclude on Sunday, October 3rd in mid afternoon. We will forward complete information
including registration, housing, announcement of the public meeting, invited guests, etc, within the next two weeks. We look forward to
seeing you all and having an exciting and productive fall meeting. For more info, please contact Mary Brassell via e-mail: brassell [at] sbcglobal.net

or by phone at (916)441-0045. We can organize flights (Jet Blue is $89 for the Thursday) and a Sacramento room at the hotel.
