New Yorkers Prevent Bush from Visiting Firehouse

"Just got back from Elmhurst, Queens. Bush did not make it from the Italian social club to the planned photo-op at the firehouse just two blocks away. There were too many protestors, mostly locals, who were waiting to boo and tell him exactly what they thought of his billionaire tax cuts, his racist war and exploitation of 9/11. I am proud to be a New Yorker, especially after what we have done this week."
