The March for Women's Lives, sponsored by Planned Parenthood, drew some 25,000 demonstrators and is the largest abortion rights rally ever held in New York City, according to the organizers. The march proceeded across the Brooklyn Bridge to City Hall Park, where a post-march rally was held.

That demonstration, and the pro-choice movement in the US overall, is not just about the right to have an abortion. It is about the right to choose whether or not, and when, to have an abortion.
