RNC 8/31: Taking the Intersection

It was difficult to mobilize a large crowd near Madison Square Garden. Groups kept getting broken up and scattered amongst the huge amount of pedestrians. About 10 people decided to sit down in front of a bus of delegates.... then everyone around them poured into the intersection (approx at 35th and 7th). It was a really great action. The delegates were forced to get out of the buses and walk... and of course got heckled. A shortwhile after the intersection was taken over... a march with about 100 people joined the corner. The police eventually cleared the area.
