Street Theater on the Embarcadero

We couldn't be in NY for big RNC protest so we quickly put together a small event to show our solidarity. Allen Schlossman contributed his time and considerable graphoc talents to create incredible masks of Bush, Chneney Rumsfield, Ashcroft and RIce as well a fake $$.

Our numbers were small but we were able to make a bit of a scene by accosting passers-by with offers to buy their votes and asking whether they were "WIth us or against us" as Bush the lesser likes to put it.

We also had simulated beatings of those who were against "us" and various impromptu scenes of bribery by Enron and Halliburton. The Cheney mask was so scarry that people were visibly cowed.

Were were able top have some good discussions and pass out literature about local UPJ groups, action items, and the 9-11 cover-up.
