8/26: Plan Street Theater for 8/29 RNC demo

Dear Activist friends:

The NYC RNC protest is coming to a city near you!

Please share your creative ideas for planning Sunday's street theater with
us at Cafe La Boheme (24th St x Mission) 7:30 PM Thurs.

One person has agreed to make mask of Bush and Cheney and if needed Rumsfield
Ashcroft and Rice

He also has some really hot currency to hand out--these are NOT your
fathers Deception 9-11 Dollars!

We need:

Actors (or wannabe actors): this is your chance to give free reign (pun
intended) to your thespian urges.
Ideas for script (or scriptlets) for the actors
Thoughts about what our real main message should be (ending siege of Najif?
Books not bombs? civil rights?)
Other thoughts on logisitics and timing (boom-box, megaphone, attire)
Help with publicizing to activisits and media.

Please come to La Boheme and help us work this out.
If you can come to the planning meeting please let me know.
If you can't come to planning meeting but will come Sunday also RSVP (so we
know how many props and materials to bring)
Also, if you can't make to the planning, pleased send your scriptlets and
other ideas to me.
