Picket returns for a second day to NY State Courthouse for Central Park Aug 29 RNC protest
Manhattan - For the second morning, Not in Our Name supporters rallied outside the New York Supreme State Courthouse today as Judge Silberman prepared to release a ruling on the Central Park August 29 permit battle.
Heavy police presence and metal barricades did not dampen the spirits of the protestors. Across the street, Tanya Mayo, Not in Our Name National Coordinator read a statement declaring that, no matter how the judge rules, “We’ll see you in the park.”
A decision on the permit is expected later today.
