Restoring human health without animal cruelty

by Marburg monkey
The future will remember the brave people at SHAC who first stood against the immense monolith of corporate animal testing cruelty for a more humane world..
Humans and other primates are more similar than different. Research corporations like HLS prefer primates because there are more biochemical/physiological similarities to humans (preferred test choice, though voluntary testing is an issue). Within humanity there is also physical similarities and differences. People who think less of another human being because of these physical differences also apply this same logic to animals. Along the lines of "might makes right", the weaker human and animal always loses to the "ubermensch". Do "species" differences between human and primate give a corporation like HLS the right to deprive a living primate of their freedom in the rainforest and subject their bodies to dangerous chemicals?

Nobody would willingly subject themselves to toxic chemicals, though humans injest toxic substances all the time. Smog, pesticides, drugged beef animal carcass, etc. all enter the bodies of humans, whether voluntary or not. The corporation who manufacture the petrochemicals tell humans that they couldn't possibly live without these toxic substances, even though humanity has thrived far longer (20,000 years +) without all the toxic petrochemical garbage currently polluting Madre Tierra..

So the rationalization of corporate dependency tells society that they need to remove primates from the rainforest and lock them in cages to test the effect of toxins on the primate. This initial test is innaccurate as primates will not react the same as humans. So eventually humans are exposed to the product to double check, though this is not always voluntary or even known by the test subjects. Prisons are often used to test less powerful humans with physical/economic differences from the humans currently in control of this corporate system. Even then people forget that each individual may react different to the toxin based on personal health/resistance/susceptibilty. This is all done to reduce legal action against the manufacturer once the toxic product is released to consumer society and someone becomes unexpectedly ill..

No human, primate or other animal is happy in a cage. Depression and anxiety are just a few of the problems suffered by the being; depression often leads to biochemical changes and weakening of the immune system. This is yet another reason that animal testing results are skewed from reality, by creating the artifical reality of the cage away from the rainforest (without natural plant/insect diet, soil, humidity, etc.), the subject is no longer the same physiologically, though this is not always perceptible by corporate science (running with blinders)..

Other options include returning to holistic healing that relies on plants and healthy lifestyle to prevent illness in the first place. Avoiding petrochemical toxins in the environment can happen when people collectively decide to stop poisoning their surroundings and their own bodies, thereby weakening their immune system. When the human immune system is restored, diseases could be a thing of the past along with cruel animal testing. Human society can survive and thrive when we appreciate the beauty of Madre Tierra without exploiting her for corporate greed and profit..

Then primates can continue their happy existance in the rainforest distributing seeds as we eat fruit and leap through the canopy. The rainforest plant biodiversity contains everything humans need for health and life, ask the shamans how to harvest and collect sustainably, though it won't be sustainable under corporate control..

Bringing primates from the rainforest into human cities can also bring along unexpected hitchhikers as was the case in Marburg, Germany. Filoviruses like Ebola and Marburg can be transmitted from primate to human. What once was is now. There is no running away (no matter how thick the propaganda blinders) from the past to the future on an imaginary linear line. True human and Earth time is a circular spiral like DNA, the past cycles into the future..

We all desire to break free from corporate prisons..
