The Hispanic Empowerment Association of Roseville or (HEAR) will host The Hispanic Heritage Festival on Sunday, September 12, 2004 as part of the nation's celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 16, 2004.)

Now in its 5th year - The Hispanic Heritage Festival - will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Roseville's Placer County Fairgrounds located on the corner of All American City Blvd. and Washington Blvd. off Highway 65.

The Hispanic Heritage Festival is a regional wide celebration of Hispanic Heritage and what a fiesta it is! Non-stop world famous Hispanic
entertainers, azteka dancers, wonderful ethnic foods, children's activities.

"The Hispanic Heritage Festival, will feature Latin Jazz, Salsa, Merengue, Latin Pop and Rock, Banda, Mariachi, Ballet Folklorico and Tex-Mex music from local and national Bands", stated Rene Aguilera, President of HEAR - whose organization's mission is to raise funds for academic youth scholarships. HEAR is also a member of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the
Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.

$5,000 in Student Scholarships will be awarded to Latino 1st year college students enrolled with 12 units or more at any local College or University and that graduated from any high school in Roseville, "Class of 2004."
