On Friday, July 30th, Peaceable Kingdom, a 70-minute documentary produced by award-winning filmmakers James LaVeck and Jenny Stein ( The Witness), premiered in San Francisco to a standing room only audience of 900 at the Herbst Theater. Distinguished guests included actress Alicia Silverstone, who hosted the event, Senator John Burton, Assemblyman Marc Leno, and President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, Matt Gonzalez.

Now the film will be showing at San Francisco's Red Vic Movie House on Haight Street, for six more showings on the 22nd and 23rd of August.
