An informal gathering and discussion

Brazil's Landless Workers Movement (MST) Celebrates 20 Years!

Ramao Aldo da Silva, a leader of the National Coordination Committee of the MST, will speak at New College and La Pena Cultual Center.

He is scheduled to make speaking appearances during the week of August 8th to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the MST, the largest social movement in Latin America and one of the most successful grassroots movements in the world. He will speak about the history of the Movement, its tireless struggle for land distribution through agrarian reform, and detail the current situation in Brazil.
