Photos from Summer of Love 2004 Rally

In a rally held in San Francisco's Sunset district over 400 people gathered to, in the words of rally organizer Evelyn Gee, "...show that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Asian and Pacific Islanders exist, and that we do care passionately about this important issue."

The rally was sponsored by the Gay Asian Pacific Alliance (GAPA) and speakers included San Francisco Assessor Mabel Teng, San Francisco Supervisors Tom Ammiano and Bevan Dufty, and the Reverend Penny Nixon of the Metropolitan Community Church.
