Organic Sacramento meeting on Monday!
Calling All Activists!
I encourage everybody to go to the Organic Sacramento meeting on Monday. It looks likes there's a great agenda.
This announcement is from Kim Glazzard of Organic Sacramento.

Hey All!
This is an extremely important meeting which everyone is really
encouraged to attend. Tracy Lerman with Public Citizen will be coming
from Oakland to discuss AB 1988, the legislation to allow students
alternative food choices to irradiated meat. We will also be
strategizing and organizing for the upcoming Jeffrey Smith (author of
"Seeds of Deception") California visit in September, reviewing
potential implications regarding increasing detection of West Nile Virus
in Northern California (i.e. Sacramento area), and hearing from those
who attended this last week's "Measure H" training. We, also
will, hopefully, be blessed with a presentation from our own Ladybug
Farm owner, Jerry Bachman, and may have visitors from the Community
Alliance of Family Farmers. Please plan on attending this crucial
meeting (and don't forget to bring a chair !!!).
See meeting details below:
Monday, August 9th at 6:30pm
East Portal Park
1120 Rodeo Way
This park is at 52nd and M Streets, between Folsom Blvd. and J Street.
Here is the city's page on this park:

Please bring a folding chair to sit on, and we will circle up.
Hope to see you there,
Kim
