Pictures of South Berkeley Community Garden (first set)
Here are some of the pictures that I have taken at the South Berkeley Community Garden.
The garden is in a great spot in South Berkeley- it is right next door to the Tool Lending Library, it abuts on the temple where "Thai Brunch" is held on Sundays, it is accessible by BART and bus, and it is near other community resources such as a park and schools. It is L-shaped, so it stretches from MLK to Russell.
The person who owned the lot died, and the lot is for sale. The gardeners are hoping that some group of people with enough money to save the garden will form and buy the lot.
