Lawlessness Abounds
A state of lawlessness exists, not only on the Indian Reservations, but throughout the so-call civilized world. People no longer have an identity and do not have any functioning culture.
The Revolutionaries
I have been reading , with great interest, the writings of the Revolutionaries, Thomas Paine, in particular. I wanted to read the words of someone who didn’t have a political ax to grind, one who yearned to be free, who burned with a zeal to make right all the injustices, to have the courage to break away from the most powerful nation on earth and form a new government. Our situation is very much the same as it was for the Colonists back in 1775, with some important differences, of course.
I was wondering how we could get rid of this government that does not represent us, that creates harmful laws to oppress us, that allows bureaucrats to mismanage the money intended to help us, that allows fraud and theft to take place, that has a police force ready to carry out Gestapo type orders, no questions asked, that frequently incarcerates innocent people to silence them, teach them a lesson in repression, or to frame them.
We have a situation here in America in 2004 than in 1775. With all the blessings of technology, we are living in a new dark age of communication with a feudal economy, governed by a fascist hyprocracy, in a hybrid of people who are immoral and amoral, claim to be Christians yet know nothing of the Bible or its great teachings. In short, the majority of Americans today are ignorant, arrogant, immoral, non-religious, materialistic people.
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and never will be . . . The People cannot be safe without information. When the press is free, and every man is able to read, all is safe."
These words were spoken by Thomas Jefferson.
With no enemy strong enough to oppose the U.S., why are all our social programs bankrupt and why is this nation at war? Why is unemployment sky high? Why is all this theft and murder taking place, and no one bats an eye? It’s a rich man’s game. To quote William Clark:
“The Federal Reserve's greatest nightmare is that OPEC will switch its international transactions from a dollar standard to a euro standard. Iraq actually made this switch in Nov. 2000 (when the euro was worth around 82 cents), and has actually made off like a bandit considering the dollar's steady depreciation against the euro. (Note: the dollar declined 17% against the euro in 2002.)
"The real reason the Bush administration wants a puppet government in Iraq -- or more importantly, the reason why the corporate-military-industrial network conglomerate wants a puppet government in Iraq -- is so that it will revert back to a dollar standard and stay that way." (While also hoping to veto any wider OPEC momentum towards the euro, especially from Iran -- the 2nd largest OPEC producer who is actively discussing a switch to euros for its oil exports)."
What Clark is saying is that the U.S. government no longer represents the real people who do all the work, produce something, suffer, do without, but instead represents only itself and the rich boys that control the government.
America was founded on the principles of Christianity. Although the founding fathers thought it best not to let a particular religion govern, such as the Roman Catholic Church had ruled Europe for over a 1000 years, that does not mean they thought people and government should be devoid of religion and its teachings. It was Thomas Paine who noted that according to the Bible, all men are created equal, that the Jews were better off when they followed God and the prophets rather than a king. Nowadays, we are governed totally by greed, money and profit. There is no religion or morality left.
“After toppling Saddam, this administration may decide that Iran's disloyalty to the dollar qualifies them as the next target in the `war on terror.' Iran's interest in switching to the euro as their currency for oil exports is well documented. Perhaps U.S. operations against Iran will be mostly covert, but this MSNBC article alludes to ultimate objectives of the neo-conservatives.”
"While still wrangling over how to overthrow Iraq's Saddam Hussein, the Bush administration is already looking for other targets. President Bush has called for the ouster of Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat. Now some in the administration -- and allies at D.C. think tanks -- are eyeing Iran and even Saudi Arabia. As one senior British official put it: `Everyone wants to go to Baghdad. Real men want to go to Tehran.'"
America is so far removed from the democratic principles on which this country was founded, that it has become a fascist state, a concentration camp fashioned and guarded by the inmates, that it has Washinton and Jefferson spinning in their graves.
What can you do? The first step is to become virtuous. Yes, I mean you personally. You must become a moral and virtuous person and teach your children right from wrong. Secondly, you must learn the truth of the situation, and always let the truth lead. Thirdly, become honest. Fourth, start doing something constructive like planting a garden, building a house, fixing, mending, and repairing. Fifth, conserve, stop wasting lives and resources. Six, let the Spirit (God, Allah) lead in all things so you may live a good life. In other words, become religious.
You cannot solve the world’s problems that have been created by the tyrants of this world. You aren’t in any position to do anything about that because you have no religion, no morals, no character, no honor. You must change what you can change. Yourself. When you arm yourself with the truth and virtuous behavior, you will be a force to be reckoned with. I would suggest you start examining religion as a starting point.
