Cardenas Grand Jury Likely to End Tues- Go in AM!

Dear Friends:
Michael Walker, the State Narcotics Agent who shot and killed Rudy Cardenas, completed his testimony today. Deputy District Attorney Lane Liroff indicated that he will conclude the proceedings tomorrow (Tuesday - July 27th) with one more witness and then will present the Grand Jury with his closing statement. He did say today that it will be up to the Grand Jury to decide whether to indict Michael Walker and that he will not make a recommedation one way - to indict - or not to indict. Based on my observation I believe that enough evidence has been presented for an indictiment.
