The Kern grand jury,. already pretty much powerless, now is under attack by Kern DA Ed "da Jackal" Jagels. Arvin corruption was exposed by the GJ and Jagels asserted that the Grand Jury stepped over the line.

Grand Juries in CA are very limited in their powers--cannot bring charges or actions against local judiciary for instance. Now they are attacked for doing what they are appointed to do. Jagels has a made a career out of nearly fascist-like action in Kern--and the big "liberal " papers in LA or SF (Times & Chronicle) have done little to nothing to stop him and the Kern DAs and right wing judges. You might remember not all leftists are liberals, gays, affirmative action supporters, or opposed to the NRA, also. It would be great if citizens in Kern and Southern San Joaquin used IMC to fight the power of the cops and right wingers (as well as hypocritical chi chi liberals)
