Hot Tamales, anyone? This year’s San Jose Tamale Festival was designed with a few things in mind. To promote, preserve, celebrate and share the Mexican Heritage and Culture with the communities of the Bay Area with a healthy family environment of goodwill, music, dance, and of course, tamales! The Story Road Festivals is a community development joint venture between Story Road Association and Latin Reach, Inc. for the purpose of promoting social and economic recovery in the vital Story and King Road Business Corridor. This joint venture has been endorsed by the San Jose Redevelopment Agency, City Council District 5 and District 7, City of San Jose Department of Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services, and the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. The fiesta will ensure a day of fun, tradition and thousands of tamale lovers!
